Now in its 25th year, this popular program offers three- and four-year-olds the opportunity to interact with other students and with nature in a hands-on and exciting way. Young Naturalists learn letters, numbers, colors, and shapes by exploring, experimenting, and discovering the world around them.

Open House: Thursday, February 7 from 3:30 - 6 pm (snow date: February 8). Members new to the program are encouraged to attend. Tour the YN Classrooms and Teachers will be available to answer questions.

**A space has opened up in this year's Young Naturalist Preschool program for one lucky, nature-loving 4-year-old! NEW class offering for 2019-2020!

We are excited to announce that next year, which also happens to be the 25th anniversary of the Young Naturalist Preschool, we will be piloting a new forest school class, the Fox class!  Students can enroll in this mixed-ages class for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week.  Click here and visit our Open House (see details above) for more information.

The purpose of this unique program is to provide an early childhood experience that meets the developmental needs of each child through interaction with the environment and engaging the child’s sense of wonder with the goal of developing a lifelong appreciation and relationship with the natural world.
