Native American Ceremonies & Games

The Native Americans of our region engaged in many fascinating social activities.  Annual gatherings were held to conduct important ceremonies and renew family ties.  Through the use of actual artifacts and replicas, students will explore the Winter Ceremony, learn how to play a few native games, see some of the instruments that were used s and join in a social dance.

  • 45 minute presentation
  • 30 minute forest trail walk
  • 15 minutes free exploration

  • Picnic area available upon request

Program Cost: $150 for up to 25 students & 5 parent chaperones. Staff is free. Additional students are $7 each
