Hike for a cause
Now in its 11th year, the Hike-a-Thon is one of the Museum’s primary fundraisers and all of the money raised goes directly to supporting the Museum’s educational programming. Below you will find some important information about the Museum by the numbers: Museum Facts at a Glance
Date: Saturday, April 22 - Rain date: Sunday, April 23
- Check in begins at 9:00 am
- Welcome & warm-up at 9:30 am, then head out to the trails!
Location: Outdoor Discovery Center on Muser Drive across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall
Please join us for an afternoon of fun at our Earth Day Celebration, immediately following the Hike-a-Thon!
Hikers of all ages and abilities are welcome!
-The Nature Play Trail includes stops along the Young Naturalist's favorite Nature Play spots.
-The Pond Trail is self guided and perfect for beginner hikers and is a stroller friendly
-The Naturalist Guided Trail is a moderate hike, guided by an experienced Museum Environmental Educator.
-The new McKeon Loop Trail is a more rigorous hike for seasoned hikers.
